The hotel is located in a great place right next to the river and in the middle of the little village, offering a fantastic base to explore this part of the Lake District. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and cosy, providing a pleasant stay, but the dining experience, while good in parts, was a bit disappointing with some dishes. The staff went the extra mile to assist in any way they could, enhancing the overall experience.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, just as the pictures depicted. The food was comforting after a long day exploring Ullswater. However, some dishes could have been better. The location is ideal for walking around Ullswater, right next to the River and in the center of the little Village. Sadly, there were missed opportunities with the bar area for residents. The dining experience had some hits and misses, but overall enjoyable.
